Act 1 (Macbeth)

The first thing in the play that happened was Macbeth meet up with the witches and they told him and Banquo there future. Macbeth would be King one day and Banquo childern would be Kings. Then he killed someone and the king gave him the title the Thane cador, angus brings him the news. On his way home he writes his wife a letter telling her about what the witches say and how the king gave him the Thane of Cawdor, and how he and the king our coming to the house. Then Macbeth starts to have thoughts about how he is going to become king is he going to have to kill someone. Like when he says " Whose horrid image doth unfix my hair, And make my seated heart knock at my ribs, Against the use of nature? Present fears, Are less than horrible imaginings."

So when his wife hears about that she starts plotting on how she is going to kill the king, it seems to me that the thought of power and money made her lose her mind. when she said "The Raven himself is horase, That croaks the fatal entrance of Duncan Under my battlements. Come, you spirits. That tend on mortal thoughts, unsex me here, And fill me, from the crown to the toe, top- full, Of direst cruelty." It seems to me that planning to kill man was like second nature to Lady Macbeth.

So when Macbeth gets home a day before Lady Macbeth she trys to get him to talk about wanting to kill the King Duncan. At first Macbeth was all up afor killing him but then, I guess his conscience gets to him and he changes his mind. And she tries to call him out and make him change his mind, when she said "Was the hope drunk, Wherein you dressed yourself? Hath it slept since? And wakes it now, to look so green and pale, At what it did so freely?" Then she made it seem like he was a lair and that he should do what he says. I think that Lady Macbeth is going to be in all of the drama from here until the end of the play.
